Purling Brook Falls is a 4 km circuit, (easy walk) through Springbrook National
Park in the Hinterland 55 minutes from the Gold Coast. National Parks walking tracks are
very good with some stairs included. Moderate to beginner fitness. This HIKE is approx. 2
hours.

ITINERARY:
Leave from Gold Coast at 7:30 am. Return to hotel/accommodation at 12.30
pm

Purling Brook Falls hike has some spectacular waterfalls, lush rainforest, ancient trees,
impressive views, exceptional ecological importance and natural beauty that makes this
Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage area an outstanding place to visit. Enjoy
this moderate 4-kilometer hike to Purling Brook Falls with an experienced guide and explore
this unique and spectacular rainforest destination on the Gold Coast’s Hinterland.

Transportation from Gold Coast hotels is included, as is morning tea. Purling Brook Falls hike
is an exhilarating experience and will give you the opportunity to observe life in the
rainforest at close range. Recently a new suspension bridge was built over the Little Nerang
Creek gorge on the Purling Brook hike which has given way to fantastic views and
opportunities to take in the magnificent rainforest. You will also take in the lookouts along
the Springbrook Scenic Rim viewing waterfalls, mountains and views back to the Gold Coast
from the Hinterland.

This hike is also very popular for people wanting to do a hike but not a big hike. They get
to see the waterfall from above & below, cross over the bridge with spectacular cascades
while winding up through lush sub-tropical rainforest. Cake & coffee for morning tea
awaits us & then views of the scenic lookouts before we head home. A very pleasant short
hike.
